HIGHLY REQUESTED - NOW AVAILABLE
SERIAL KILLERS OF LOS ANGELES
Many requests had been made for the author to write about his experiences regarding the Serial Killer cases he had worked on or had researched. After he had finished his last series book he was able to concentrate on this book.
For 43 years I worked in the Los Angeles County Criminal Justice System. In 1981, the William Bonin case was being tried in one part of the county while I was trying Death Penalty cases in other parts of the county. So I have personal knowledge as to how these serial killer cases were handled from start to finish. Later on in 1988, I became involved in the Louis Craine, Southside Slayer case which opened my eyes as to how the news media would report on certain types of serial murder cases.
Later on in 2002, I worked on the preparation and strategy for the Michael Hughes case. A little later in 2008, I was involved in the preparation of the Chester Turner case. Shortly after that I worked on the Lonnie franklin case.
Those cases included in this book are the following:
- The original Freeway Killers- Patrick Kearney and Randy Kraft
- The most famous Freeway Killer in Los Angeles County- William Bonin
- The Hillside Strangler- Kenneth Bianchi and Angelo Buono
- The Toolbox Killers- Lawrence Bittaker and Vernon Butts
- The Sunset Strip Killer- Douglas Clark and Carol Bundy
- The Rogue Nightstalker- Richard Ramirez
- The first Southside Slayer- Louis Craine
- The longest Southside Slayer- Michael Hughes
- The most prolific Southside Slayer- Chester Turner
